HYDRA Speedmount - places chips at 21,000 CPH.
The HYDRA Speedmount substantially increases overall machine speed without reducing the number of machine feeders or available components. The eight-nozzle head is capable of mounting 21,000 components per hour.

Additionally, when using the Linescan Vision System (LVS) and HVS, all components are centered optically "on-the-fly."
"On-The-Fly" Vision with HYDRA
The HYDRA Vision System (HVS) is a standard feature on the HYDRA Speedmount. The camera is used for simultaneous "on-the-fly" processing of all eight components being picked by the HYDRA.
The HVS is a high-speed vision processing system. When the eight-nozzled HYDRA head, transports the picked components over the upward looking HYDRA camera, the camera performs batch recognition of all components at once, using multi-view vision processing. This significantly reduces component recognition time and increases the throughput.
Smart Feeders Reduce Changeover Times
MYDATA provides a wide variety of intelligent tape, vibratory, and matrix tray feeders, all designed for convenient and easy operation.
MYDATA magazines hold up to 16 reels of tape or component stick, allowing multiple feeders changes in one go, which reduces setup and changeover times. Due to the MYDATA feeder design and the intelligence of the TPSys control software, the machine can recognize the presence or absence of components. Removal and refill of magazines is possible while the machine is placing components.
If a magazine runs out of one component, production doesn't stop. Instead, the machine alerts the operator, re-optimizes and continues to mount the remaining components. The operator can then change magazines or load new components while the machine is mounting
